4 Fat Burning Foods That Should Be In Your Everyday Diet! (Video)

Hey there, so you know that issue you have when you’re trying to put on your pants and you have a little struggle fastening them?

Yeah That Problem! Don’t worry I’ve been there too, but I can help you with that!

Today as I was shopping at one of my favorite grocery stores, Trader Joe’s I notice that I never go without these 4 items that I had to share with you all. I noticed when I started to eat these foods on a daily bases, my jeans sure got a lot easier to fasten and it has been that way for a while.

Now of course that wasn't the only thing had me excited to be punching new holes in my belts. One of the biggest benefits that really helped me shed all my belly fat was once I decided to do a Detox, to flush all the toxins, rebalance my hormone levels, and re-boost my metabolism. My body then became a fat burning machine! In a later post, I will talk more on detoxing. I’ll discuss the benefits and share which detox I’ve used that really helped me balance my hormone levels and keep my belly in tact! However, once you detox you’re body needs continuous fuel to keep that “engine flooring” and that FAT “SHEDDING!”

These 4 Foods that I will be sharing with you in a moment are great to naturally rebalance and alkalize the body. There’s one particular hormone that you need to keep an eye out for. This one hormone regulates your body to stay in balance, keep the fat burning and remain in total function. That one hormone is LEPTIN, the unappreciated most forgotten hormone! Leptin is the primary hormonal regulator of the body fatness in humans and you will start hearing me talk more about this hormone and how to keep this hormone happy! When your body exhibit a resistance to leptin it causes the brain to oppose to fat loss by multiple mechanisms.

One of the main reasons why we could be resistant the leptin is caused by THE FOODS WE EAT! Our body uses the foods we eat as fuel aka energy and if you are eating “crappy foods” you’re body will reciprocate by functioning crappy. (NOT ROCKET SCIENCE)

We will resume more on that conversation later, but I want to share these 4 amazing foods that will help you to flush out toxins and keep our hormone levels balanced. Even when we don’t make the best food choices, (which we ALL do) these 4 items will help you get back on track when we “derail.”

Ok so I have a CONFESSION, these foods don’t necessarily BURN FAT, nor does any food actually burns fat. ONLY your body burns fat through the process of metabolism, but you get the point, you still need these foods to burn fat-CHAIN OF COMMAND. So now that we got that out the way and you know what the 4 foods are, let’s talk about why they are beneficial to your body.

1. Lemon

Lemons can be used to improve digestion and works greatly in helping to detoxify the body. When the body is toxic it is unable to digest and absorb foods properly causing it to become inflamed and storing excess fat. Lemon juice is great substitutes for flavor in sugary drinks. It can be used in sparkling water to replace soda or juice to cut back on excess sugar and calories or used to replace heavy sauces and dressings.

2. Green Tea

Green tea is a tea plant native to Southeast Asia, now easily accessible across the globe. This intensely studied plant has been a huge stable in many top-fat burning supplement formulas, but for great reasoning. Green tea contains of high antioxidants known as EGCG-epigallocatechin gallate (I dare you to say that really fast 3 times!) This antioxidant jump starts your hormones, communicating to your brain to kick those body fat stores to the curb. Please note that these benefits relate to the actual green tea plant NOT THE FLAVOR!

3. Avocados

Arguably considered more of a fat than a fruit, avocadoes is amongst one of the healthiest fats in nutrition. This fatty rich superfood amongst many other benefits is known to be a free radical ninja! Every day your body is being exposed to toxins whether we eat it, touch it or breathe it, causing free radicals to attack your body sabotaging the metabolism. This triggers many disruptions in the body from metabolic issues, hormone dysfunction and several health issues. Avocados play a significant role in boosting the immune system and assisting in normalizing some free radicals. Later leading the body to function properly and be that functioning fat burning machine we all want.

4. Grapefruit.

It has been said that eating a half of grapefruit before meals help to lose weight possibly because the water content which helps you feel fuller, but there’s controversy if that’s valid or not. As I mentioned with lemons, it’s not to say that these fruits magically melt the fat away, but does have great digestion and detoxification benefits. Grapefruit is highly rich in vitamin C, it’s packed with various nutrients and vitamins including potassium and lycopene, which all boost the immune system and fight free radicals. Whether it’s still in verdict or not, this powerhouse fruit has undeniable benefits that give your body the boost it needs to work for you and not allow you to be a slave to body fat nor any bodily dysfunctions.

**WARNING** if you are on any medication as well as birth control pills please speak to your doctor if grapefruit is safe for you to eat as they open the capillary veins and can alter the effectiveness of your medication.
