I want to share an amazing essential oil that I feel everyone should have in their medicine cabinet!!!
PEPPERMINT OIL!!!
This Essential Oil has many benefits and can be use for a plethora of things!! Peppermint Oil is probably one of the most used essential oil for me! I call it my “Make it Better Oil” I’ve came up with 13 different uses that I would like to share with you guys that I myself use to “Make it Better!!”
Peppermint Essential Oil Uses: 1. Add a drop of peppermint essential oil to herbal tea to help aid normal digestion and to relieve heartburn. 2. Rub one drop of peppermint essential oil on the temples, forehead, over the sinuses (careful to avoid contact with your eyes), and on the back of the neck to relieve headache. 3. Place 2 drops of peppermint essential oil on the tongue and rub another drop of oil under the nose to help improve concentration and alertness. (This is very beneficial to me, because my attention span can be like a 2yr old sometimes! LOL) 4. Apply peppermint essential oil to the back of the neck and shoulders throughout the day to keep energy up. (Excellent for those who sit long hours in front of a computer!!) 5. Inhale peppermint essential oil, apply topically to your temples or neck, or put
a drop on your tongue or in water to jump-start your morning routine. (Excellent to do prior to working out!) 6. Diffuse or inhale peppermint essential oil to curb the desire to snack. (FOR MY SNACKERS OUT THERE!!!) I also use peppermint toothpaste and brush my teeth when I have the urge to snack on junk food, especially late night! (100% natural and fluoride free of course) 7. Inhale or rub a few drops (about 4-6 drops) of Peppermint oil in the palm and rub over the stomach to relieve any stomach discomfort (i.e indigestion, diarrhea, nausea.) Also helpful, to have handy if you tend to get sick while traveling (i.e vertigo, sea sick etc) **Ginger is also great for stomach discomfort. Make Ginger tea and add 1-2 drops of peppermint oil to relieve stomach discomfort (add honey for taste) ** 8. Rub several drops of Peppermint oil on the bottoms of the feet to reduce fever. 9. Apply a drop of Peppermint oil topically on unbroken skin to stop itching from insect bites, rashes, etc. (I also mix with coconut oil after, this really soothes the itching!) 10. Place a drop of Peppermint oil on the tongue and inhale into the nose and sinuses to relieve congestion from a cold. 11. Add Peppermint oil to food as a flavoring. Save a few buck and you can be 'Starbucks -Ready' with your own Mocha Peppermint coffee by adding a drop to coffee. (Add as many drops to taste, but start off with 1-2 drops) 12. Rub Peppermint oil on joints to relieve arthritis or tendonitis pain. (I like to add a some drops to my bath water to soothe my joints especially after an intense workout, a lot of walk, long day etc) You could also mix Peppermint oil in a foot bath as well to relieve sore feet.
13. Place a drop of Peppermint oil on the tongue to stop bad breath. You’ll definitely be 'smooch-ready' after that!

NOTE: MAKE SURE OIL IS SAFE TO INGEST WHEN CONSUMING!
So as you can see Peppermint Oil is definitely an Essential Oil you want to have handy! I always keep a bottle at home and good to travel with.
